Pahlavi language and literature

Farid Shoolizadeh

Pahlavi language and literature forms a major part of our culture and actually the root and historic cradle of the Persian language.  Such a treasure, especially the scripts that were written in the Sassanian era, shows the evolutionary course of the Persian language all through history.

Pahlavi is a language with fine structural characteristics and these characteristics can only be found in the German and French languages.  In these languages every noun or adjective can be converted into a verb.  This grammatical feature gives the necessary ability to these languages so that they could be used as the language of science in the course of history.
